Off-Platform Transactions

  • Attempting to bypass the platform for payments
  • Sharing contact information to arrange work outside the platform
  • Using the platform to generate leads for external business

Fraud and Misrepresentation

  • Providing false information during registration or verification
  • Submitting fake bids or quotes
  • Impersonating another person or business
  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

Harassment and Abuse

  • Harassing, threatening, or intimidating other users
  • Discriminatory behavior based on protected characteristics
  • Sending spam or unsolicited messages
  • Abusive language in communications

Illegal Activities

  • Posting illegal or harmful content
  • Violating intellectual property rights
  • Engaging in activities that violate New Zealand law

Messaging Guidelines

All communication through the platform should be professional and respectful:

  • Use the internal messaging system for all contract-related communication
  • Keep messages relevant to the project or contract
  • Do not share personal contact information for off-platform communication
  • Report any inappropriate messages to support

Content Standards

When posting content on BlueTika, you agree:

  • All content is accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge
  • Photos and descriptions accurately represent the work or services offered
  • Content does not violate any third-party rights
  • Content is appropriate for a general audience

Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in:

  • Warning notice
  • Temporary suspension of account
  • Permanent account termination
  • Reporting to relevant authorities if illegal activity is detected

We reserve the right to remove any content or terminate any account at our sole discretion.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter behavior that violates this policy:

  • Use the "Report" button on the relevant content or user profile
  • Email support with details of the violation
  • Include screenshots or evidence when possible

All reports are reviewed promptly and investigated thoroughly.
